UPDATE: N.W. 178th closed at May & Portland, person free from wreck
UPDATE 1:38 p.m. – Emergency crews have freed the person trapped in the car and have canceled the medical helicopter. They are taking him to the hospital in an ambulance.
Officials said at least two people are injured but they have not confirmed the victims’ conditions.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews have closed N.W. 178th St. between Portland and May Ave. for after a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon.
At least two people are injured and they are working to free at least one person trapped in a car.
Officials have not confirmed the conditions of those injured.
Ambulances are on scene and crews have called for a medical helicopter.
Bob Moore Chopper 4 is over the scene.
Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area and to find an alternate route.
