OKC firefighters giving out smoke detectors door-to-door
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City firefighters are going door-to-door Tuesday giving out smoke detectors and making sure residents have working smoke alarms in their homes.
OKC fire crews are working with Energizer to remind residents of the importance of preparedness.
They are encouraging residents during National Fire Prevention month to adopt life-saving habits in the “Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery” program.
Earlier Tuesday firefighters demonstrated fire safety tips for children at Sequoyah Elementary.
