Florida airport reopened after ‘destructive’ device forces evacuations
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville international airport in Florida has been reopened Wednesday morning after a bomb squad removed a destructive device.
According to investigators two suspicious packages were found at the airport and one of them had a “destructive” component that required it to be taken offsite.
The airport was evacuated while the bomb squad removed the device.
It was reopened late Tuesday night and now the airport is trying to get everything back to normal.
Wednesday morning we’ve learned an arrest has now been made in this case.
The entire incident has now been deemed a hoax the investigation is still ongoing right now.
