OKC ranks top 10 in ‘best cities to start over’

OKLAHOMA CITY – Many people will sort through their problems only to realize that it is time to move on or start completely over.

When looking at the best places to make a fresh start, Oklahoma City made the top 10.

The study by Creditdonkey looked at population growth, income growth, unemployment rates and the number of single adults in the area.

With an unemployment rate 3 percentage points below the national average, Oklahoma City gains the number seven spot on the list.

OKC’s population is growing at a rate of 1.6 percent and our city is home to several Fortune 1000 companies.

Other cities that made the list of ‘best cities to start over’ include the following:

  • New Orleans, LA
  • San Antonio, TX
  • Boston, MA
  • Minneapolis, MN
  • Houston, TX
  • Oklahoma City, OK
  • San Jose, CA
  • Nashville, TN
  • Raleigh, NC

    OKC is a great city! Oklahoma is a great state. shhhhh…don’t let anyone know or else many would move here. We ain’t as hicky as y’all think- ya hear? LOL! I have lived in CA, WA and other states same as it is here same types of people as anywhere you may go.
