Police searching for woman allegedly involved in home-invasion, murder
NORMAN, Okla. – Investigators are searching for a woman who may have played a role in a homicide of young man who interrupted a burglary at his home last month.
Police say Nicholas Williams was gunned down on September 14 when he walked in on two alleged thieves who had broken into his apartment.
Williams called 911 to say that he had been shot but later died at a local hospital.
Two weeks after the crime, authorities arrested 17-year-old Myron Burris for the murder.
Burris is facing burglary and first-degree murder charges for the crime.
He will be tried as an adult.
Now, investigators are looking for 19-year-old Latricia DeeAnn Vaughn as a second suspect in the murder.
Vaugh, who also goes by Bell, is described as a black woman, standing 5’10″ tall and weighing 142 pounds.
