Task force aims at keeping quality teachers in Oklahoma
OKLAHOMA CITY – A task force will take another look at how to keep more teachers here in Oklahoma on Wednesday.
The Oklahoma Education Workforce Shortage Task Force will meet this week for the second time.
The panel will study current workforce shortage issues across the state.
They’re also working on ways to recruit and retain the best teachers for Oklahoma schools.
The group is scheduled to meet up two more times before the end of the year.
