The OKC Barons open their season Friday night the Charlotte Checkers at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
It is Barons night with $2 draft beer and $1 hot dogs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
But Saturday, one lucky fan drives away in a brand new Dodge Ram 1500 truck in the Drive Away Every Saturday contest.

Oklahoma City residents can for free this weekend at State Fair Park on Hazardous Waste Collection day Saturday.
Residents are asked to bring their water bills as proof.
Non-Oklahoma City residents can still drop off their hazardous waste at a collection facility at 1621 south Portland but they may be charged for the services.
This facility is open to all Oklahoma City residents and non-residents Tuesday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8:30-11:30 a.m.
The annual Oklahoma Regatta Festival is underway in the boathouse district downtown near S.E. 6th St. and Lincoln.
A full weekend of rowing and paddling competitions are scheduled through Sunday.

Trams will run to Conway, Schidler Elementary and the Landrun Monument lot. Those who park at the Bricktown Events Center may walk to the tram stop at the Landrun Monument lot, as well as to Walnut Grove.
Schlegel Bicycles is hosting the fifth annual SchlegelFest Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
The festival includes events for all ages like pumpkin painting, raffles, bike clinics and other fun activities for kids.

Fall into Fitness Sunday in the Farmer’s Market District.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the whole family can enjoy the free event.
