Inmate escapes from Jefferson County for a short period of time
WAURIKA, Okla.- 25-year-old inmate escaped from the Jefferson County Detention Center in Waurika on Friday morning, which forced two school districts to go
on lock down.
Nelson was on the run for a little over 24 hours.
County Sheriff Deputies in Purcell caught the inmate 100 miles away from Jefferson County.
