Thunder Down 76ers in England
The Oklahoma City Thunder went on a 13-2 run in the third quarter to take the lead for good on their way to a 103-99 preseason win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday in Manchester, England.
Reggie Jackson paced the Thunder with 29 points, adding 8 assists and 6 rebounds, while Kevin Durant nearly had a triple-double, scoring 21 points, with 12 assists and 8 boards.
Serge Ibaka added a double-double, with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while blocking three shots of the Thunder’s total of 11.
Former OSU guard James Anderson had six points on a pair of three-pointers for the Sixers.
The Thunder improve to 2-0 on the preseason, and will return to the United States for the rest of the preseason.
OKC will next play next Tuesday night at home against the Denver Nuggets at 7:00 at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
