Construction set to begin on St. Anthony’s fourth Healthplex
OKLAHOMA CITY – St. Anthony announced the construction of its fourth St. Anthony Healthplex campus Thursday.
Construction will begin immediately on St. Anthony Healthplex North on the southwest corner of North Western Avenue and Memorial Road, just south of the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
The nearly 100,000 square foot project will be accomplished in partnership with Miller Neff Development.
St. Anthony will replicate many of the key features of its new facilities currently operational in East and South Oklahoma City as well as introduce unique programs to the concept designed to meet the needs of the community in North Oklahoma City.
The facility will include a comprehensive, state-of-the-art electronic health record integrated with St. Anthony partner hospitals throughout the state, spacious emergency area with attention to unique lighting and materials to ensure quietness and a soothing atmosphere.
Patient-focused details in each emergency exam room will offer the feeling of a luxury hotel rather than a clinical setting, with special child-friendly touches in the pediatric emergency rooms and separate waiting area.
“Our focus is always on providing exceptional patient care that is easily accessible for the community. The location of our new facility provides not only convenient access, but a wide range of outpatient services in an environment that provides high levels of customer service. Healthcare will continue to move towards delivery in outpatient settings, and this further positions St. Anthony to meet that trend,” stated Joe Hodges, Regional President/CEO, SSM Health Care Oklahoma.
The complex is expected to be complete by February 2015.
