Rain is pushing to the east and northern parts of the state as temps drop
From 10:09 pm Friday
Rain is moving to the east and east central parts of the state. Much of this rain is turning into sleet in the far northern areas of Oklahoma.
Make sure you bundle up if you are going out this evening. Especially at those Friday night football games as “perfect” football weather rolls through the state.
As a front moves through, temperatures will drop to the 40s, a drastic drop compared to yesterday’s highs in the 70s.
The Northwest quadrant of the state will be under a freeze warning later tonight.
Skies will clear overnight allowing for temperatures to plummet into the 30s Saturday morning.
Widespread frost is likely and a Freeze Watch is in effect for northern and northwestern Oklahoma.
Expect pleasant weather for the weekend with sunny skies and slowly warming temps.
