Actor and comedian, Jim Carrey is now a children’s book writer
Hollywood funnyman, Jim Carrey is now a published author.
At age 51, Jim Carrey still knows how to capture an audience.
His self-published book, “How Roland Rolls,” about a young ocean wave who is afraid of hitting the shore.
The 68-pages, illustrated by animator R. C. Nason, are meant for children ages 4-8.
Carrey wanted to help them feel safe and to ease any fears of being alone by offering them the notion that all life is interconnected.
“When I was a child,” Carrey said, “my parents were smokers and I had a deep fear that they would pass … and then what would happen to me? I think that’s a common fear for children, the fear of loss. But when we realize that beneath the surface we are all connected, that fear of loss gets softened. At least that’s been true for me.”
Jim Carrey is also coming out with a new ‘Dumb & Dumber’
Taking on a new chapter in his life, and making plenty of laughs along the way.
