Cushing residents will need to call new number while fire, police move to new building

CUSHING, Okla. – Residents in Cushing will need to call a different number if they need help from the fire and police departments Wednesday.

The two agencies are moving to a new public safety center.

While emergency services transition to the new building, all the phone systems will be offline.

The new phone lines need to be attached and tested before they are up and running again.

In the meantime, citizens who need to reach the fire or police departments will need to call a new number: (918) 225-3366. 

Officials said anyone with an emergency can still call 911.
