OKLAHOMA CITY - Criminal charges have been filed against a man prosecutors say sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl with developmental issues.
The 39-year-old suspect is accused of lewd acts with a child.
Walking down the street, just a block away from home, the victim was physically lured into the suspect's house.
The victim's mother said, "He grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into the garage."
Inside the garage, the suspect allegedly groped the victim and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
"It has been extremely difficult to process," said the mother. "Her innocence was lost."
The crime only got interrupted when the home's garage door began to open and the suspect let the victim escape out a side door.
The mother said, "He wasn't supposed to be doing it so he opened the door and pushed her outside and she ran away."
After the girl made it home safely, she told her mother what happened inside the home.
She said, "When she came home, she was crying uncontrollably."
At the time, the suspect, Youssef Mrabet, worked for Yellow Cab.
According to court records, Mrabet turned in his Yellow Cab equipment and moved to New York the day after the alleged incident occurred.
The victim's mother said, "There needs to be some accountability for his actions. He asked her age. He knew exactly how old she was and still did what he did."
The victim's mother hopes the criminal charges lead to the suspect being caught before he victimizes anyone else.
She said, "I don't want someone else's child to go through what we've gone through. If there isn't some intervention, the possibility of this happening again is very high."
The alleged crime took place back in mid-August, but the suspect still has not been arrested.
