Suspect wearing blond wig allegedly threatens harm, robs local bank
OKLAHOMA CITY – The FBI is trying to identify a man who allegedly robbed a local bank Thursday afternoon.
Authorities were called to the MidFirst Bank, located at 13240 N. May Ave., after employees reported that they had been robbed shortly after 12 p.m. Thursday.
Witnesses say a man wearing a blond wig walked into the bank and demanded money from one of the employees.
The man allegedly threatened to hurt her if she did not comply.
She immediately took the man to the teller counter, where other employees gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
Officials say witnesses saw the man leaving the bank heading south on foot.
Agents say the same man had been in the bank on Wednesday when he pretended to apply for a loan with the same bank employee.
The man is described as a white man, between 25 and 35-years-old and standing 5’8″ to 5’10″ tall.
He weighs 170 to 190 pounds and was wearing a dark gray or black suit, light peach or pink shirt, the same color tie and a blonde wig.
The FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department are investigating Thursday’s robbery.
