OKLAHOMA – Hundreds of new bills became active Friday, Nov. 1. The bills deal with a range of issues, from abortion to drivers license fees, to horse slaughter.

KFOR has made it easier for you to look up all these bills starting here.

Once you have accessed the Oklegislature website you have to go through a number of steps.

1. Click the Legislation button on the top of the page and find advanced bill search.

2. Select step reports and scroll down to Effective Date.

3. Once you’ve selected effective date it gives you three different boxes. Click the “All Types” box and then select “Either”

Once you have selected “Either” type in November 1, 2013 in the given date box and then click “Retrieve”

Once you have gone through all the steps it will bring you to a new page with a list of the new active laws.
