Toys “R” Us announces new standard for Black Friday shopping
OKLAHOMA CITY - A popular toy store is setting the new standard for early Black Friday shopping.
Toys “R” Us announced that it will be opening its doors at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
While some retailers already open at 8 p.m. on the holiday, the world’s largest toy store chain is upping the ante.
Best Buy also announced that it is opening its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving and will stay open until 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.
It’s a new trend that is sweeping the country as retailers continue to compete for shoppers.
For the first time in its history, Macy’s will open its doors on Thanksgiving evening.
