Tow truck has to be pulled from ditch following overnight accident

OKLAHOMA CITY – A truck made for towing other vehicles had to be pulled out of a ditch after an overnight accident.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday near N.E. 36th St. and I-35.

Officials say the tow truck was headed north on I-35 when the driver lost control and drove the front end of the truck into an embankment.

The driver was taken to the hospital but there is no word on his condition.

The tow truck was damaged on the front and had to be hauled from the scene.
