Harlem Globetrotter breaks record for longest basketball shot
“Thunder” Law of the Harlem Globetrotters took it into his own hands to break a Guinness Book World Record and scored.
With his more than 36-yard launch, Law, a 6-foot-3, 23-year-old forward who played college ball at High Point University in North Carolina and is in his first year with the Globetrotters, beat the old record of 104 feet and 7 inches.
“I can’t believe I broke a record on Guinness World Record Day,” he said. “A shot, 109 feet, 9 inches. Awesome!”
