Research: Holiday preparations could be disasterous for your devices
When it comes to the hustling and bustling of the holidays, experts say many household electronics won’t make it to the new year.
According to Square Trade, about 15 million households have damaged a mobile device during the holidays.
More than half of the damage occurred while traveling, cooking, shopping or decorating.
The company claims that smartphones take the top spot for devices that didn’t survive the holidays, followed by cameras and laptops.
Also, nearly twice as many iPhones were reported damaged as Samsung smartphones.
