OHP recovering bodies after car loses control, flies into Grand Lake
GRAND LAKE, Okla. – Recovery efforts are underway at Grand Lake for a vehicle and the two passengers still inside.
Highway patrol officials said a driver lost control launching off an 80-foot embankment into the lake Thursday night but they didn’t learn about the crash until the following morning.
Three people died in the crash and one body has been recovered; a 24-year-old man from Oregon.
The highway patrol needed extra equipment they’re using Saturday to retrieve both the vehicle and the other two victims.
