UPDATE: Man shot twice at Norman apartment, heads to fast-food restaurant for help
NORMAN, Okla. – A 37-year-old man is recovering after being shot at a Norman apartment complex and then heading to a fast-food restaurant.
Authorities with the Norman Police Department say the victim was shot Tuesday night at the Cedar Lake Apartments.
Officials say he was shot through his car window and immediately drove to a nearby Raising Cane’s restaurant to ask for help.
Once officers arrived, they transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The man was shot at least two times in the upper torso and the arm but police say he is expected to be okay.
At this time, no arrests have been made but officials are investigating the shooting.
Police say they do not believe it was a random attack.
