Midwest City names 18 year veteran as new fire chief
MIDWEST CITY, Okla – The Midwest City Fire Department has a new leader.
Jarett Metheny is the city’s new fire chief.
He’s been serving as the department’s interim chief since July and was permanently appointed to the position at this week’s city council meeting.
Metheny has been a Midwest City firefighter since July 1995.
He is now the department’s tenth fire chief, taking over for Randy Olsen, who recently retired.
