When it comes to preparing a Thanksgiving feast for the family, it can be a little overwhelming.

However, Mr. Food’s Test Kitchen has a few tips to make sure your meal is a success.

Throughout the last few weeks, Howard has been coming up with unique, easy and delicious recipes for those who are new to the kitchen or want to spice up the holiday.

First, his Award Winning Mashed Potatoes contain just five ingredients, along with salt and pepper.

Then, there’s the Southern Slow Cooker Stuffing, which allows you to throw in the ingredients without the hassle.

The best part of Thanksgiving is the turkey, but adding bacon makes it even better.

The test kitchen has cooked up the idea for the Bacon Basted Turkey.

After you cook the bird, there are a few easy tips to perfectly carve the turkey.

Howard also added a few new recipes to the mix, and created new Thanksgiving sides.

He combined sweet potatoes and the classic casserole to create the Carmelized Sweet Potato Casserole.

If you’re looking for something a little healthier, the Kickin’ Acorn Squash gives the vegetable a zest.

To change the cranberry sauce, the test kitchen created the Cranberry Pecan Relish, which only takes 10 minutes to make.

After everything is said and done, wow your guests with the Four-Layer Pecan Pie, which will serve eight people.
