Kick off Downtown in December with SandRidge tree lighting in Bricktown tonight

OKLAHOMA CITY – Thanksgiving kicked off the holiday season and now it’s time to start thinking about Christmas.

Downtown in December is officially kicking off with the lighting of the SandRidge Christmas tree Friday night.

Take the whole family down to the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for the SandRidge tree lighting festival complete with live music, food, and the main event, Mayor Mick Cornett lighting the SandRidge Christmas tree.

Santa will also be there to take photos with the kids.

The festival runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. right outside the RedHawks stadium.

Everyone is invited for the free fun.
