Oklahoma State’s basketball team advanced to the second round of the Old Spice Classic with a 97-87 win over Purdue on Thanksgiving day.

Marcus Smart led the game with 30 points, scoring 24 of his points in the first half alone.

This is the first time in school history OSU has scored 90 or more points in six straight games.

Today’s victory was the 300th win in Travis Ford’s career as a head coach.

The Cowboys will play Butler at 12:30 p.m. on November 29 in the second round of the Old Spice Classic.
