Cowgirls Remain Unbeaten With Win Over North Texas
The 19th-ranked Oklahoma State women’s basketball team routed North Texaas 95-47 on Sunday afternoon at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.
OSU got a pair of double-doubles, with Liz Donohoe scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while LaShawn Jones had 15 points and 13 rebounds, 10 of those on the offensive end, where the Cowgirls had 22 as a team.
Brittney Martin was also in double figures for scoring with 16 points and 9 rebounds.
OSU made 13 three-pointers in 27 attempts, and held the Mean Green to just 29 percent shooting from the field.
The Cowgirls also dominated on the boards, outrebounding UNT 63-35.
OSU senior point guard Tiffany Bias dished out 12 of the Cowgirls’ 28 assists as OSU improved to 7-0 on the season.
The Cowgirls don’t play again until December 14th, when they meet South Florida in the All-College Classic doubleheader with the OSU men in Oklahoma City.
