Brittney Martin Big 12 Women’s Player of the Week
Oklahoma State forward Brittney Martin was named the Big 12 Conference women’s basketball player of the week on Monday.
Martin averaged 23.5 points and 11 rebounds in two Cowgirl wins last week over Massachusetts-Lowell and North Texas.
Martin logged her second consecutive double-double with a career-high 31 points and a game-best 13 rebounds vs. UMass-Lowell.
She was 15-of-18 from the floor to go with three assists, three steals and one block.
The sophomore guard finished with 16 points and nine rebounds against North Texas.
Additionally, she had a game-high four steals and four assists along with a block.
Martin shot 71 percent from the floor for the week.
It’s OSU’s first Big 12 weekly honor of the season for women’s basketball.
