Sea eagle steals camera from park rangers, takes ‘selfie’
After park rangers in Australia tried to take a closer look at crocodiles, an eagle decided to steal the show, literally.
Park rangers placed a camera near a river in May to capture close up photos of crocodiles.
However, the camera disappeared.
Rangers recently found the device and discovered that it had been stolen by a sticky-taloned sea eagle.
The bird flew 68 miles before setting the camera down and taking a “selfie.”
