Teddy Mitchell’s son sentenced for illegal gambling ring
OKLAHOMA CITY – A man who was arrested with nine other suspects, including his father, for an illegal gambling operation has been sentenced to six months in federal prison.
Dryden Mitchell, Teddy Mitchell’s son, pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering.
It was all part of an 81 count federal indictment that named 10 defendants, including Teddy and Dryden Mitchell.
Dryden Mitchell was sentenced to six months in federal prison on Monday.
The gambling case came to light after someone beat Teddy Mitchell’s wife, Julie, to death inside their home in 2010.
That murder is still unsolved.
