EDMOND, Okla. – A pair of Oklahoma cities are delaying trash pickup because of the winter storms.
The City of Edmond will be delaying trash pickup on Friday.
Trucks that normally begin their routes before sunrise will be waiting until after sunrise.
Also, the City of Shawnee is delaying its trash pickup because of the icy road conditions.
Authorities say if weather permits, crews will run Friday’s route on Saturday, Dec. 7.
In Midwest City, officials say they have suspended sanitation pickup.
Routes that were originally scheduled to be collected on Friday, Dec. 6 will now be picked up on Monday, Dec. 9.
