Wild turkey terrorizing New Jersey neighborhood, chasing delivery men
CRESSKILL, N.J. – A wild turkey is causing all kinds of trouble in a New Jersey neighborhood.
It keeps showing up at odd times, setting off car alarms, stopping traffic, hounding delivery men and even police.
Police said the gusty gobbler has even gone after some officers and their cruisers.
Authorities said they believe it may just be about Thanksgiving revenge.
The bird mysteriously disappeared around the holiday but reappeared as soon as it was over.
While it may be a nuisance, police said the turkey’s “crimes” aren’t enough to label him a feathered fugitive.
