Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball team started the game on a 27-5 run and cruised to a 79-52 win over South Carolina on Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.
All five Cowboy starters were in double figures in scoring, with Le’Bryan Nash leading OSU with 16 points.
Marcus Smart added 13 points, Markel Brown 11, and Brian Williams and Michael Cobbins had 10 each.
OSU hit just 5 of 22 from three-point range, but forced 24 Gamecock turnovers.
OSU freshman guard Stevie Clark returned to action after being suspended for four games, but only scored three points, hitting a 3-pointer for OSU’s final basket.
The Cowboys improved to 8-1 on the season and will play next on December 14th, when they meet Louisiana Tech in the All-College Classic at Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City.
