Chief meteorologist, Mike Morgan shows off his steam engine as OKC train show rolls into town
Oklahoma City – The OKC Train Show rolls into town and train lovers turned out in droves to see the fantastic and detailed train sets and miniature displays. NewsChannel 4’s chief meteorologist, Mike Morgan was on hand to talk about his own steam engine he brought to the show.
There were all different sizes of trains, from matchbox sized to jumbo sized versions you could sit on. Children seem to express the most enthusiasm as they followed trains going around tracks at the show.
There were miniature herds of buffalo, cattle and a big top circus train set on display. Some train sets actually puffed out steam through their stove pipe smokestacks.
Ed Birch, OKC Train Show director said get the kids away from the video games for a while and come out and see the cool trains on display.
The OKC Train Show continues through Sunday, December 8th at the State Fair Grounds. Tickets are available at the door.
