Truck off icy bridge-pulled from water; at least one person killed
DENTON COUNTY, TX – At least one person was killed after a pickup truck landed in the icy waters of Lewisville Lake in north Texas.
A Texas state trooper says on person was found dead inside the vehicle after crews lifted the truck out of the water using a crane.
Wintry weather has been hammering the region, icing over roads and causing vehicles to spin out of control.
The National Weather Service says the storm is now moving east.
