Metro school bus drivers still concerned about icy bus routes
With main roads clear after last week’s snow storm, it’s hard to believe metro school districts have taken yet another snow day.
The transportation departments from some of the metro’s largest school districts still have serious concerns about the slick neighborhood roads where most of the buses pick up students.
Many drivers are already out driving their routes to determine whether or not they would be able to safely make it to school on time.
Monday afternoon many transportation directors still had concerns about neighborhood roads in their districts.
