3.0 magnitude earthquake recorded near Jones area
JONES, Okla. – Residents near the town of Jones may have felt a little movement Tuesday afternoon.
Officials with the Oklahoma Geological Survey say they have recorded another earthquake near the Jones area.
At 12:46 p.m. on Tuesday, a 3.0 magnitude quake was felt about 2.9 miles east of Jones.
At this time, no damage has been reported.
