ENID, Okla. – A fast-food restaurant will be opening its doors later this week in Enid, bringing new jobs and free food.
Enid’s first stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurant will open on Dec. 12 at its new location, 4329 W. Owen K. Garriott Rd.
Organizers say it created 80 new jobs and is now giving 100 adults the chance to win free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
The “First 100” event is part of the grand opening celebration.
The first 100 adults, over the age of 18 with identification, that are in line when the doors open at 6 a.m. on Thursday will win a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals.
The winners will receive 52 coupons that are good for a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, medium waffle fries and a medium drink.
Organizers say the coupons are worth about $30,000 but will be given away for free.
The line officially opens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday with the free meal cards being awarded on Thursday.
If there are more than 100 people in line by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, all 100 spots will be determined by a drawing held that morning.
