Millwood quarterback Cameron Batson was recently named the Gatorade Oklahoma High School Player of the Year.

Batson has led the Falcons to a 13-0 record, and a spot in the Class 2A semifinals, where they will face Hartshorne on Friday night in Ada.

Batson has committed to play his college ball at Texas Tech, and after not being highly recruited by either OU or OSU, is determined to show the Sooners and Cowboys they made a mistake on him when Tech faces the state schools in future years.

Nate Feken reports.
