Six year old boy saves toddler from drowning
FLORIDA – A six-year-old boy in Florida jumped into action when his toddler neighbor falls in a pool.
Florida loses more children under the age of five to drowning than any other state.
But, Palmer French’s quick thinking may have kept his friend from becoming another tragic statistic.
The little girl was sitting on a ledge at the shallow end of the pool when she slipped off and began sinking to the bottom.
When Palmer saw his neighbor fall in he quickly sprang into action and swam to the bottom of the pool and rescued her.
Palmer and his grandfather often play an underwater game where Palmer will swim down to the pool floor and pull his grandfather up.
