UPDATE: Trash fire ignites travel trailer, boat, car and house downtown; no one injured
UPDATE 8:56 a.m. – HazMat crews have been called in to help with the house fire near downtown.
Officials said they believe this may have started as a trash fire which spread to a travel trailer, car parts, tires, a boat and then to the home at N.W. 7th St. and McKinley.
HazMat is on the scene to ensure nothing toxic or hazardous burning is harming the crews.
According to fire officials, two people were in the home, saw fire in the yard and got safely got out.
No one was injured.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews are working to put out a house fire near N.W. 7th St. and Classen Blvd.
Officials said everyone is out of the home engulfed in flames on the 1600 block of N.W. 7th St.
A travel trailer may be involved in the blaze as well.
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 8 a.m.
Authorities have not said how the fire started.
