Residents homes damaged after a large tree comes crashing into their apartment
NORMAN – Residents at Emerald Greens were inside their apartments when a large tree came smashing through their walls and ceiling.
Both families had damage done to their children’s rooms.
The apartment on the ground level received some damage to the wall along the floor.
A resident named Dillon Becks had damage on the top floor.
Inside his home is a large crack going across the entire ceiling of his daughter’s room.
The baby’s crib is now filled with glass and dry wall he says he is just thankful his daughter was not in her crib at the time.
with all of the damage that has been done to the apartment Beck says that it is unfit to live in and worries about the next few days… he says
“its just ridiculous its Christmas and I cant even stay home at Christmas and now I don’t even know where im gonna stay at.”
Norman fire Sergeant Clymer says, “this is the largest tree vs building he has ever seen, and is just happy everyone inside was alright.”
