Cowboys Run Away from Robert Morris
Oklahoma State’s 6th-ranked men’s basketball team shot 57 percent from the field and put on a dunking show in a 92-66 rout of Robert Morris on Monday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.
OSU’s Markel Brown had 18 points, 12 of those points scored on six dunks.
Phil Forte led the Cowboys with 20 points, hitting five 3-pointers.
Brian Williams added 12 points and Kamari Murphy 10 points.
Marcus Smart was held to just 7 points after getting in early foul trouble and only attempted five shots.
The Pokes hit nine 3-pointers as a team, and played good team ball, assisting on 27 of their 32 made field goals.
OSU finishes up non-conference play at 12-1.
The Cowboys open Big 12 action at Kansas State on Saturday at 3:00.
