Formula 1 racer Schumacher, who came to Okla. horse shows, still in critical condition after skiing accident
Formula 1 racing champion Michael Schumacher remains in critical condition Monday at a hospital in France.
His agent confirms he fell Sunday while back-country skiing in the French Alps.
The director of the hospital said Schumacher is suffering from “severe cranial trauma.”
Schumacher is the most successful Formula 1 driver of all time.
He also comes to Oklahoma every year for the National Reigning Horse championships at State Fair Park, as you can see in the photo.
That competition is in December so he was in town not too long ago.
Doctors say Schumacher’s condition will require neurosurgery.
The hospital director said more information will be available later Monday.
