Construction may slow Cotton Bowl crowd
DALLAS, Texas – As fans start heading down to Texas for the Cotton Bowl, Department of Transportation officials want you to prepare for detours.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews are currently working on two construction projects along southbound I-35.
Drivers may experience slow downs near I-35 and Main St. and I-35 and the South Canadian River.
After crossing the border, drivers who are taking I-35 should not have any major problems unless they take IH-30 east or westbound.
Texas crews are currently working on a construction project on both sides of the highway, which may cause some delays.
While it may be smooth sailing for now, officials suggest you double-check your route with the traffic map before making your way to Arlington.
