Human skull found by a private utility company, according to police
OKLAHOMA CITY – Police say workers were digging a trench in Oklahoma City when they found what appears to be a partial human skull.
It was found near I-40 and Reno, Friday afternoon.
Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are looking into what happened.
Police say the skull appears to be very old and had been buried for sometime.
The skull is being transported to the Medical Examiner to determine the age, and cause of death.
Investigators are continuing to dig through the rest of the dirt to see if there are any more remains.
