Moore Tornado Damage May 20th1

MOORE – On Saturday, Jan. 4, the Keener family will begin the new year by helping volunteers from Continental Resources and Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity frame their home.

Continental Resources is providing the funding and manpower to build the home.

Dustin and Leslie Keener lost their home May 20 when an EF5 tornado tore through Moore last year. The residents will be on hand for the framing, along with officials from Continental Resources and representatives from Central Oklahoma Habitat.

Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity stands ready to build as many as 400 homes over the next three to five years for families impacted by the May tornadoes.

Central Oklahoma Habitat is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that provides affordable housing for hardworking families with limited income.
