Man dies in Mexico building collapse; several injured
MEXICO CITY – A building collapsed in Mexico City Saturday, killing a construction worker and seriously injuring 20 others.
Officials said the workers were mixing cement for a new three-story building when the upper level platform they were on gave way.
The falling platform crushed others who were working below.
A 30-year-old construction worker was killed. 20 others were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
