Having a bad day? You’re not alone; today surveys as most depressing day of year
If you’re having a bad day, you’re not alone.
Researchers say the first Monday of 2014 is the most depressing day of the year.
A British study of 2 million tweets over the past three Januarys reveals this day has the lowest happiness score of the year.
The blue mood is blamed mostly on the return to work and school after the holiday break.
There was also a huge increase in posts about breaking resolutions, being tired, not having any money and disliking the cold weather.
According to the report, women tend to be more positive than men through the month of January.
