Rebuilding Our Community: The big reveal
OKLAHOMA CITY – With the help of Salazar Roofing, a grandmother in south Oklahoma City is enjoying her home that is completely remodeled.
She’s helping to raise her grandchildren while working at an elementary school cafeteria.
When we first met Sandra Newton a few months ago, she was having major trouble with her roof, back porch and laundry room.
Her windows were also in disrepair.
Newton tried to do some of the improvements herself but it was just too overwhelming.
The crews from Salazar Roofing stepped in and made the $10,000 worth of repairs for free.
Now, she has an enclosed back porch and windows in the rear of the house.
Newton said, “I’ll thank God everyday for them helping me and doing this for me.”
